PURE SIMPLE NATURAL
The beautiful newborn stage is so lovely but also so brief - they really don’t stay this tiny for long. So for me newborn photography is all about photographing your baby in a very simple, relaxed, baby-led way with neutral colours and some beautiful light. Newborn babies really are perfect just as they are, so I love to photograph them in this minimalist way ensuring the focus is all on your beautiful baby and their tiny details. I don’t tend to use props, only some lovely soft blankets and wraps. Please have a look through my newborn portfolio for some examples and if you have any questions at all just get in touch.
WHEN TO BOOK
Newborn sessions are ideally done within your baby’s first 14 days. They're a lovely way to capture how tiny and sleepy newborn babies are. You can get in touch when you are still pregnant, anytime after your 20 week scan is perfect to ensure availability. I can then block out some session times surrounding your due date and we can confirm an actual date once your baby arrives. If your baby has already been born, don’t worry you can still get in touch and I’ll do my best to fit you in.

NATURAL NEWBORN STUDIO SESSIONS
Held at my studio in Banchory. Simple, relaxed and with beautiful light, the focus is all on your beautiful new baby and you.
OR
NEWBORN AT-HOME LIFESTYLE SESSIONS
Relaxed and natural newborn photography in the comfort of your own home. These sessions are unposed and I take more of a lifestyle approach, making the most of natural light and your home environment, the session is unique to you.
